Overloading leads to machine stopping
Solution: Reduce splitting pressure below 260 kg; reposition hole.
Drill rod gets stuck
Solution: Stop, check cause, use push cylinder to free – never pull with excavator boom.
No lubrication applied
Solution: Apply molybdenum disulfide grease to block & T-platform every 3–5 splits.
Hole deviates or bends
Solution: Control drill guidance; replace bent drill pipe.
Position shaft slips
Solution: Use concave ground points for positioning and apply moderate pressure.
Too much downward arm pressure
Solution: Apply moderate downward pressure. Excessive pressure causes damage to positioning shaft.
Splitting without a free end-face
Solution: Always split with a free end. Otherwise, overload may cause block or splitter damage.
