Our warranty ensures reliable performance and customer support for all Makna IRDSM machines.

- Manufacturing defects in Makna IRDSM machine materials or workmanship.
- Electrical/electronic controller faults not caused by water ingress or surge.
- Hydraulic valve body casting/assembly defects under rated pressure.
- Gearbox bearing/gear failures due to factory defects.
- Frame/weld cracks occurring under rated duty without misuse or impact.
- Complaints resolved only by Makna’s certified technical service team.
- Coverage valid for 1 year from date of purchase (subject to operating hour limits).

- Wear items/consumables (wedges, chisels, filters, seals, hoses, lubricants, fasteners).
- Damage from misuse, overloading, wrong oil, or dirty oil.
- Impact/accident damage, corrosion from neglect, water ingress, or power surges.
- Damage after unauthorized modification or non-approved repairs/spares.
- Installation errors or use with incompatible carriers/compressors.
- Warranty void if non-OEM/non-Makna parts are used.
- Excavator complaints are not covered. Excavator repairs are the customer’s responsibility.
1. Warranty Coverage
Makna warrants that every Makna IRDSM is free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service conditions, provided it is installed, operated, and maintained according to Makna’s official operation and maintenance guidelines.
All complaints and warranty issues must be reported to and resolved by Makna’s authorized technical service team. Use of genuine Makna OEM parts is mandatory for warranty coverage.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.
2. Warranty Period
- Main Machine & Structural Components: 12 months from purchase or 2,000 operating hours.
- Core Components: 12 months from purchase or 1,000 operating hours.
- Consumables: Not covered.
✅ All warranty coverage is valid for 1 year from the date of purchase.
3. Common Inclusions (What is Covered)
- Defects in Makna IRDSM castings, forgings, or weldments.
- Controller/PCB failures from component defects.
- Hydraulic valve block leakage due to machining/assembly defects.
- Gearbox bearing/pinion failure from material defects.
- Premature failure of non-consumable seals/gaskets due to defects.
4. Common Exclusions (What is Not Covered)
- Misuse, abuse, or operation beyond rated parameters.
- Operating without correct lubrication or with contaminated oil.
- Improper hole layout, shallow holes, or splitting without a free face.
- Using non-Makna or non-OEM parts or lubricants.
- Repairs/modifications by unauthorized workshops.
- Normal wear and tear of consumables.
- Complaints related to the excavator (carrier) are excluded. Makna is not responsible for excavator breakdowns. If Makna staff attend to excavator-related service, all charges are payable by the customer.
5. Warranty-Loss Scenarios (Void if…)
- Non-genuine or non-OEM parts used in repair/maintenance.
- Machine serviced outside Makna’s authorized technical team.
- Evidence of tampering with serial numbers or seals.
- Operation without lubrication or with wrong oil.
6. Warranty Claim Procedure
- Report the defect to Makna or its authorized dealer within 7 days.
- Provide serial number, invoice, operating hours, and photos/videos.
- Makna’s official technical team will inspect and verify the claim.
- If approved, Makna will repair/replace. Excavator-related repairs are billed separately.
7. Customer Responsibilities
- Operate machine only with trained personnel.
- Perform daily checks and scheduled maintenance.
- Maintain service logs and hour-meter records.
- Use only Makna OEM spare parts and lubricants.
- Handle all excavator (carrier) complaints and repairs at customer’s expense.
8. Limitation of Liability
- Makna is not liable for indirect or consequential damages.
- Makna is not liable for excavator downtime or excavator repair costs.
- If Makna staff assist with excavator repair, service charges apply to customer.
- Makna’s obligation is limited to repair or replacement of Makna IRDSM components only.
9. Governing Law
This warranty is governed by the laws of the country where the product is sold. Any disputes shall be resolved under the jurisdiction of the relevant courts in that country.
